BikerBabe 0 #3 February 13, 2010 It's a trap!!! *sigh* Here's where i shamefully admit that John Boehner was the congressman who nominated me to the Air Force Academy. (though back then he was only a 2-term congressman from a small ohio district. Though in his defense, he took that responsibility very seriously and was very involved not just in the process, but all during the time any of his nominees were at an academy. Kept in touch, held banquets over the holidays, stood up for us if we got in hot water undeservedly, etc. Too bad he's turned into such a fuckin' nut.Never meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup! CanuckInUSA 0 #6 February 13, 2010 Your video URL does not work in Canada. Not your fault. I live in a country that believes in certain forms of censorship. Is this from the show on Feb 11th? I may be able to watch it on a different site. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
airdvr 210 #7 February 13, 2010 Absolutely....let's hold up Hawaii as a beacon of hope for the nation. From the State of Hawaii's website Get a load of these state tax tables. http://www.state.hi.us/tax/d_09table_p13.htm Still further...an excise tax on businesses. http://www.state.hi.us/tax/2009/bb1_vp12.pdf Oh wait...seems to be a problem... HONOLULU - The State Department of Taxation is reminding the public that effective immediately, the issuance of all net income tax refunds for tax year 2009, including individual, corporate, and fiduciary income tax returns, will be delayed until July 1, 2010. Please don't dent the planet. Destinations by Roxanne

CanuckInUSA 0 #10 February 14, 2010 ROFLMAO ... nope censored again by the CRTC ... actually this other site just links back to the Daily Show and this is the URL the CRTC does not want me to have access to. Jon Stewart is on Canada's Comedy Network station and it was through the Comedy Network that was able to find Ian's video reference since this show was only a few days old. But the Comedy Network search feature appears to be busted and I could not find your Keith Olbermann video which is too bad because watching an Olbermann rant is almost as funny as Jon Stewart. CanuckInUSA 0 #14 February 14, 2010 ROFLMAO ... found it. I may not always agree with Jon Stewart, but he is definitely one of the better ones out there. Too bad we have to resort to comedy to get our news these days. Keith Olbermann ... good grief, who's got the straight jacket. nathaniel 0 #16 February 15, 2010 I laughed, but if it was as simple as copy-pasting hawaii across the nation we'll first have to jack up incomes and cut poverty rates. For that matter why stop at employment if we can copy paste at will, let's do the whole Hawaiian economy...palm trees in Detroit, private islands in S Dakota, etc http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Household_income_in_the_United_States -> Hawaii is 5th best in median income http://poverty.suite101.com/article.cfm/poverty_in_hawaii -> Hawaii had 5th lowest poverty rate (article dated 2008). If we're going to be fudging demographic factors, quit pulling your punches and let's go straight for Luxembourg or Lichtenstein. We'll just be more like them and the numbers will work themselves out. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_%28nominal%29_per_capitaMy advice is to do what your parents did; get a job, sir.
