In 1931, Winston Churchill, not yet a household name outside the UK, was hit by a car while crossing a street in New York. He was banged-up pretty badly. His companions flagged down a taxi to take him to a hospital. The staff at the privately owned and run hospital, who apparently had never heard of him, first verified that he and his companions had the money to pay for his treatment; only then was he admitted and treatment rendered. Presumably, had such verification not been promptly forthcoming, he'd have been turned out.

What are the most important aspects of the the bible, they should be all the all good stuff that is in the bible. To use the bible to prohibit people from getting married in a church that agrees to perform the service is wrong and illogical. There are many aspects to the bible that are wonderful, but it seems not too many Christians are rushing out to make these into laws. There is little question among biblical researchers that there are many errors in the bible. The early scribes that copied the many books and letters in the first few centuries did not do a very good job. Many of theses scribes could copy but not even read what they had copied. Many of the early scribes did not use punctuation, capital letters or even spacing between words. godisnowhere Words of an atheist or believer ? You can see how no spacing between words can cause problems, even if it was in greek.
