fasted3 0 #6 March 11, 2010 Quote Still waiting on the Libs to explain why we torture our own troops. Did you read the article? QuoteWhile Bush-Cheney officials defended the legality and safety of waterboarding by noting the practice has been used to train U.S. service members to resist torture, the documents show that the agency's methods went far beyond anything ever done to a soldier during training. The soldiers knew they wouldn't die. I think that many defenders of this practice don't really oppose torture anyway, no matter what form it takes. Skin them alive and make them eat their eyeballs... they deserve it.But what do I know?

For me it’s out of respect for America and the ideas we believe in, kill for, and die for. To think we would just fold on what we believe because of fear is ridiculous and the farthest thing from being a patriot at least in my book.I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

I agree, and to be clear, I oppose torture, including waterboarding, not only as an American, but as a human being. But what do I know?
