Gawain 0 #2 March 22, 2010 QuoteDoes anyone know what this means for soldiers and families with Tricare? I'll be talking to a friend who is also a corporate officer at TriWest (the west region Tricare partner) sometime this week. But on the face of it, there won't be any appreciable difference for active duty and their families. I am interested in seeing what happens with VA coverages, and Tricare for retirees. In the immediate term, you don't have anything to worry about. So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! matthewcline 0 #4 March 22, 2010 When put to vote yesterday the clerk read that DoD, The Legislature and "other members" of Government would be exempt from this bill, or words to that effect. My understanding is that AD, and Retired and Families who are in TriCare will stay in it as they are now. The question and I am still reading the Bill is if they pay in to the HC bill or not, they pay into TriCare now. I have found nothing about VA in the bill yet, but again I am still reading it. This is my third time trying to get all the way through it. MattAn Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
