You are 100% correct.

Don't let the dolts here on the DorkZone confuse the facts. Obtaining a Green Card through employment is a major pain in the ass. It's expensive, it is time consuming, it requires plenty of intervention from lawyers and you could be well on the way towards obtaining the Green Card when all of a sudden something goes wrong in the application process and you are sent back to the start.

The easiest way to get the Green Card is through marriage.
But since when has marriage ever been easy?
