Someone in Govt makes BP some what accountable and he is a bad guy for doing it?

I would have done more then make them set up a relief fund. I would charge them with gross negligence and throw them all in jail.

I am proud of him for at least doing that. Not that it is enough, but at least he did something.

I guess it is ok for his presidential choice to upsurp power ( as he did again today concerning the HC bill).

But if not his chozen one then it is bad

Suppose Obama will call the judge who ruled on the drilling ban in to the White House this week?

I also like the report (youtube vid) where the congressman is telling the crowd Obama is holding off on border security to get his amnesty plan going ( I know more is coming on this one)

Hell, we are extorted and bullied by corporations every day in everything we do.

I don't think anything was extorted out of BP. If I spilled oil all over your yard and ruined your business. I would be held accountable for that. Why shouldnt the Pres exert some serious pressure to make sure they will take care of the people that have had and will have their lively hood taken away from them. Never mind the environmental issues we are facing.

The other route would be to wait until they havent paid up and people are losing homes and starving while BP fights for every single penny they are sued for in court.

Screw the corporations. We should take all of BPs money and only give it back when every single person that is effected is back on track.
