It was a plea bargain. so the judge had nothing to do with him being found guilty - the problem started with the sentence (his lawyers didnt expect jail time). high ranking officials also said no jail time was in order. - there will be an appeal and it will most likely be reversed. so, so much for the racist Israeli system... he pleaded guilty... oh, and on top of it all, he is married too....
