We had them say they were showing up to a KIA funeral in June, they did'nt and they hardly ever do. I've only been to one mission when they did, even then I never saw them because there were already so many PGR around them, I went on to salute the familiy at the service.
Unfortunatley I may have another KIA funeral within the next week, they never get any easier, but what the PGR does is worth every minute of my time.

QuoteSo where does freedom of religion need to stop, then?
It will stop when the one world government, one world religion is established.
It is approaching. One clue for its arrival will be when you carry all your biometric data as an implant on your hand or forehead.

Without world government, how do you expect us to resist the Klingons?
Go ahead. Laugh now. But I'm stocking up.

No.
Where do you think it should stop?

Well, I guess at the property line on the other side of my neighbors.

So when you said "Unfortunately, in this country we have allowed too much liberty with the freedom of religion." you meant that you don't want your neighbours to be able to practice their own religion?

I live in the South. Down here we stick together.
I know you are going to require further explanation. My neighbors and I have like values. If some wacko buys property next to one of them they will be upset. I will join them and be upset also. We will likely begin to behave in attitude and manner that will indicate to the wacko that he would probably be happier if he lived somewhere else. We would stay within the limits of the law but the message would be delivered and understood. Now the wacko can stay and be miserable or move.

So how has freedom of religion gone too far?
RonD1120 62
QuoteSo in that sense, freedom of religion already does stop at your neighbours fence. People can't just stand on his lawn displaying their religion if your neighbour doesn't want him to.
So how has freedom of religion gone too far?
Diminishing returns here same as there.
My point started with the word liberty. You shifted to freedom to maintain argument.
Liberty is the freedom to do what is right, not the right to do what is wrong. When a church pickets and demonstrates at the funeral of a fallen warrior, telling his family and friends he deserved to die, that is wrong.

a) It's the same thing.
b) "Unfortunately, in this country we have allowed too much liberty with the freedom of religion."
QuoteLiberty is the freedom to do what is right, not the right to do what is wrong.
Bollocks. You can't just redefine language whenever you feel like it.
QuoteWhen a church pickets and demonstrates at the funeral of a fallen warrior, telling his family and friends he deserved to die, that is wrong.
But it's allowed. They're allowed to believe it under freedom of religion and they're allowed to say it under freedom of speech.
If you think the limits should fall short of that, where do you think they should fall?
(And I'll just remind you that the remark was originally made in the context of money grubbing evangelists and speaking in tongues.)

Law enforcement stops it at the property line. They are confined to the public right of way. The PGR provides a human wall of patriotic separation and dignity.

That's not an answer. You've just repeated what the limits are, not what you think they should be.
PGR Mission Complete. WBC was a no-show. Proper respect and dignity maintained for the fallen warrior and the Cuzzupe family.
