I say the government shall make no law against being an asshole. He has a right to say it, but he's an idiot for saying it.Please don't dent the planet. jakee 1,563 #2 October 2, 2010 I do agree, but I gotta say, from quickly looking at some of the stuff he's written, adding the fact that he seems to also be stalking the kid and possibly using the police to harrass him and the frankly bizarre justifications he came out with in a CNN interview linked here... the guy is not only an asshole (and I mean a really, deeply nasty and vindictive little man - he is genuinely trying to destroy this kid's life), but quite possibly a little bit disturbed. It's gotta raise questions over his suitability for the post he currently holds, which I would imagine involves the ability to keep a level of professional impartiality.Do you want to have an ideagasm? Oh hell yes. Let 'em speak up! It's the only way we can really get to know what the "public servant" is all about. If you think what they say on their "own time" has no relevance to how they conduct public business, you are sadly mistaken. My reality and yours are quite different. As the article states you have a right to say what you like. You don't have a right to have a job as a public servant. We don't need people like him working in positions of power. Same goes for those phelps assholes, and that kkk cop. We as citizens have a right to demand that our public servants treat all of us equally.

funjumper101 15 #6 October 5, 2010 Quotewhat do you mean "higher standard?" Higher than who? Why should someone else be held to a lower standard than anyone else? When it comes to law enforcement, RWCs always pretend to act like they think that the standards should be applied equally. When the USA engaged in kidnapping and torturing folks, nothing was done while it happened. After a good portion of the facts of the matter came out, I don't recall hearing anything from the RWCs that called for the perpetrators of the crime to be held accountable. Quite the opposite. I heard nothing but EXCUSES as to why the perpetrators of this international crime should be allowed to get away with it. Spare us the bullshit about equal treatment under the law. RWCs don't actually believe that for a minute, as shown by ACTIONS, not words.

More to the point, are you always angry enough to incorrectly morph facts into opinions that fit your agenda?I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
