That woman was and is one of the most effective SOH this country has ever had. Every single major issue that the Administration wanted to get through the house made it through to the Senate. The Rescums in the Senate grossly abused the rules to block further progress, so we ended up in the current really fucked up condition. The Rescums successfuly marketed their disgusting abuse of Senate rules as a failure of Democrats. Marketed to the credulous dimwits that consistently vote against their own best interests. RWCs absolutely HATE effective government. According their so called principles, the less government, the better. The primary goal of the movement is to allow the wealthiest and most powerful to continue to skew the economy to their benefit, at the expense of the average citizen. As the rich own the media and essentially control the message, RW dimwits buy the marketing of policies that are REALLY BAD for them and their families. Blame is assigned to "liberals", when the reality is quite different. We, the USA, are well on the way to becoming another Mexico or Argentina where there is a very small cadre of really rich families that control the economy. The rest of the population scrapes by on the crumbs left by the extremely wealthy. Rich people can't safely travel by ground transportation in much of Argentina. Gated communities and private security/armies are the norm. Is that the USA you want your kids to live in? Congratulations, you're going to get it, thanks to your support of policies that are really bad for all who pay FICA taxes on 100% of their income. A perfect example of RWC insanity is the battle they plan to wage over the expiration of the Shrub tax cuts. These are the same assholes that spew about the horror of budget deficits, while, with straight faces, plan to add 700 BILLION in borrowed money to the budget deficit, to pay for the tax cut extension for the extremely wealthy. ALL of the tax cuts should be allowed to expire. All of them, for everyone. We can't keep mortgaging the country to China, or we are screwed. The entire country would appreciate it if you dimwits actually woke up and started to hold your team to some semblance of accountability with regard to their stated positions. When what you PLAN to do is totally at odds with what you SAY you believe in, it should not be allowed to pass unchallenged.
