Who has proposed banning guns?
You have
No, I have not. You are unable to find a single post where I have suggested that.
Oh I linked it is a similar debate a while back
No you did not.
In fact in your post of Feb 24, 2010, at 4:27 AM you admitted you could not find any such post of mine.

QuoteThe primary purpose of a Gun Registry is to act as a shopping list for gun grabbers.
Really? I mean . . . REALLY?
How did you arrive at this conclusion?
There are many items that are registered with the government every day and to my knowledge the purpose of the registry has little if anything to do with confiscation; airplanes, boats, cars, people, dogs, cats, bicycles, houses, businesses.
How, exactly, did you arrive at your conclusion?

Try driving an M60 tank on the freeway. See what the cops do. (Hint - it happened in San Diego; police shot him.)
Lame analogy - an M60 tank isn't a personal arm. Shows the paucity of your argument beautifully, though, when that's all you can come up with.Quote>Make sure to get your free speech and voting endorsements when you pick it up.
?? I'm not the one saying that "guns should be just like cars."
No, you didn't - but what you demand for one right can be demanded for others.
Hmmm
I do not recall where anyone said guns should be like cars
As I recall cars was brought in to demonstrate the futility of laws in some cases (as felons follow laws correct)
And of course gun ownership is a right
car ownership is not

And of course gun ownership is a right
It is a limited right, as expounded by Justice Scalia. It is quite properly denied to certain individuals. It is therefore reasonable to have a way of identifying those individuals.

At that time, yes I did post that
Later I came up with the thread and linked it
You can prove me a liar with one post kallen
What are your specifics?
What would you do?
I know you can bitch well and talk circles but you seem to know it all

You are correct! Neither is a Yugo.
It is, however, an example of a vehicle you cannot drive on a freeway. So if you want guns treated like cars, there will be some guns you cannot carry in public because the government has determined they're not safe enough, or they do too much damage.
Still want guns treated like cars?
>No, you didn't - but what you demand for one right can be demanded for others.
Exactly.
So still want guns treated like cars?
