“He did not watch TV. He disliked the news. He didn’t listen to political radio. He didn’t take sides. He wasn’t on the left. He wasn’t on the right.”

Zeitgeist... full of Revisionist History... lies mixed with truth.

And what came next...? The solution...?

[] Why this guy is different from Moozlims.

Well, when it's a "Moozlim" shouting "Allahu Akbar", we're not supposed to jump to conclusions.

When it's NOT a "Moozlim", we're immediately supposed to believe it was due to the Republicans/Tea Party/Sarah Palin even though there's no evidence the person ever had anything to do with them.

You're implying that a Muslim shouting Islamic-based psychotic rantings is different than, say, Loughner, a Christian who expressed political-based psychotic rantings, or maybe John Hinckley, who expressed Jodi Foster-based psychotic rantings. Me, I'd put them all in the same category.

But thanks for not voting that libs are enemies of the people. ;)

The Arabic for "God is Great" is psychotic? Do tell.

Where's the evidence that show's Loehner is a Christian?

How could I do that, with all the folks here and on the news telling us that it's all the fault of the conservatives?

I was referring specifically to the Ft. Hood shooter, who did that. It certainly appears that mental illness was a major factor in his committing that crime. Now as for the 9/11 hijackers, who said it as they flew to their dooms - no, those were just terrorists.

I guess I presumed it (rightly or wrongly) from the spelling of his surname. But he ain't no Moozlim.

Anyhow, am I an enemy of the people?

Poll: This thread should morph into:

Aw... are you sad that the left has lost their... ammunition?

:o

Too soon for a 2nd amendment joke? That's ok, the congresswoman was Pro 2nd Amendment.

Zeitgeist has much to say about our currency (Federal Reserve Notes) and Gold... very easy to see where his, ramblings, originated. Not from Glenn Beck.

And nowhere in either film... are viewers pointed to return to the Founding Fathers to RESTORE the Republic.

Instead... a BS futurist. Who's words I will be debunking, with the words of our Founders.

After... the "religion of America" ;)

And it makes even more sense... because Part 1 of Zeitgeist is all about how religion is... a Lie.

Zeitgeist is an interesting story. Some of it is believable and some of it kind of is a little too far fetched. But there is definitely a lot of anarchists these days preaching some sort of Zeitgeist and Mr Loughner appears just to be one of many. Of course one who went too far as far as rational people are concerned.

I am still curious to find out (if we ever do find out) why he has wanted Ms Giffords dead. Why her? She is a politician but hardly someone closely connected to the Fed. His history with her dates back to 2007, possibly even earlier.

I've been wondering that, too. My tentative conclusion is that he had a psychotic, delusional obsession with her, not dissimilar to the psychotic, delusional obsession Hinckley had with Jodi Foster, or the psychotic, delusional obsession Mark Chapman had with John Lennon.

Thus, I really don't think Loughner's crime was truly politically motivated, except in the psychotic, delusional synapses of his own mind. Mental illness and psychotic paranoia were the true causes of his crime, and random chance just happened to direct the focal point of that psychosis into a seemingly-political form.

I invite any shrinks or therapists reading this to opine on whether they think I'm on the right track.

Good possibility that he had an unrequited love for her. He thought there was more between them than there was.

I haven't really thought that far ahead.
I'm embarrassed to admit that when it comes to speakers' corner , I just haven't had the foresight nor been dilligent/disciplined enough as to formulate a "plan" per se.

Let me take a few moments so that I can contemplate and I'll get right back to you just as soon as I have ny plans finalized.

Zeitgeist is an interesting story.

It sure is! And I have watched it MANY, MANY times.

And I have done much research into its claims. Pt. 3 that is...

Much of it is completely true! (Pt. 3) Though some of it... is false and manipulative. But that is the essence of Revisionist History. Manipulating history to fit a need... containing some truth... some falsehood. Or they just leave things out completely that don’t fit their story line.

One lie in Zeitgeist... Woodrow Wilson knew exactly what he was doing when he signed the Federal Reserve Act... it was not a mistake, as they claim.

I have spoken many times about our first three Progressive Presidents... Teddy (who started the progressive party), Wilson and FDR.

The film has much to say about the FED that I agree with, and it mentions that FDR’s uncle was on the original Federal Reserve Board. Hmm... now that’s interesting.

I wonder if Jared is a 9/11 Truther...? For, that's what Pt 2 is about...

Van Jones is a 9/11 Truther, and an Obama Advisor...

And Valerie Jarrett, a Senior Advisor... Obama’s childhood friend... said on CSPAN they have been watching Van Jones ever since he first became active in Oakland.

Part 1 is also very interesting... 19:40 to 22:04... to be specific.

Orion’s belt (the Three Kings), they follow Sirius (Star in the East), to the SUN (Personified as Jesus) to the point of the sunrise on Dec 25. The Birth of the Sun... Jesus.

The Virgin Mary is the Constellation Virgo. Virgo in Latin is Virgin -- Also referred to as the House of Bread. Bethlehem translates to House of Bread.

So the film says, it’s a place in the sky... not on Earth.

And then the phenomenon they explain, which causes the sun to perceivably move south on the horizon until Dec 22nd... where it stops, for three days (symbolizing the death of the Sun to the ancients - Winter), where at that point it residences in the vicinity of the southern cross (crux) constellation... and on the 25th, the sun moves one degree north.

The Sun (Son) died on the cross, was dead for three days... and was resurrected/born again.

Personifying the birth and death of the Sun... as the SON... Jesus.

Very interesting indeed... as well as what is said about the "Ages."

But what I find even more interesting... is that Jared was a self proclaimed Atheist.

Given what was said in the introduction...

"The more you begin to investigate what we think we understand, where we came from, what we think we're doing, the more you begin to see we've been lied to. We've been lied to by every institution. What makes you think for one minute that the religious institution is the only one that's never been touched? The religious institutions in this world are at the bottom of the dirt. The religious institutions in this world are put there by the same people who gave you your government, your corrupt education, who set up your international banking cartels.

(Edited out of current version) Because our masters don't give a damn about you or your family. All they care about is what they have always cared about and that's controlling the whole damn world.

We have been misled away from the true and divine presence in the universe that men have called "God". I don't know what God is but I know what he isn't. And unless you are prepared to look at the whole truth wherever it may go, whoever it may lead to, if you want to look the other way,

(Edited out of current version) or if you want to play favorites then somewhere along the lines you're gonna find out you're messing with the divine justice.

The more you educate yourself, the more you understand where things come from, the more obvious things become and you begin to see lies everywhere. You have to know the truth and seek the truth and the truth will set you free."

“I don’t know what God is... but I know what he isn’t.”

Interesting... just as I have said before.

Religion is not the important part... the important part is GOD.

You can have God without Religion... but you can’t have Freedom without God.

And clearly, the introductory speaker, isn’t an atheist himself...

Quote

your corrupt education

I couldn’t agree more!

Lets return education to the states and localities... as the Founders intended it...

Quote

Some form of Zeitgeist?

Well, this sounded pretty specific.

Shrug... Sometimes you just can’t understand crazy. However, it is quite clear that the lefts lies about rhetoric, is just that... lies.

I like this one!

"That Scott down there that's running for governor of Florida," Mr. Kanjorski said. "Instead of running for governor of Florida, they ought to have him and shoot him. Put him against the wall and shoot him. He stole billions of dollars from the United States government and he's running for governor of Florida. He's a millionaire and a billionaire. He's no hero. He's a damn crook. It's just we don't prosecute big crooks."

Classy! But it is... Free Speech!

And he commented later, that anyone who took his words literally is a fruitcake...

Double Classy!

Of course you can. And, in fact, you do.

As for the rest of it, literally not a clue what you're talking about. Was there a specific point you wanted to make, or are we just being treated to a random section of your stream of conciousness?

Orion’s belt (the Three Kings)

Oh...that's where the idea of three kings comes from...I certainly can't find it in the Bible.;)

Try Matthew 2:1

From wiki:
In Christian tradition, the Magi, also referred to as the (Three) Wise Men, (Three) Kings, or Kings from the East, are a group of distinguished foreigners who are said to have visited Jesus after his birth, bearing gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. They are regular figures in traditional accounts of the nativity and in celebrations of Christmas.

The Gospel of Matthew,[2] the only one of the four Gospels to mention the Magi, states that they came "from the east" to worship the Christ, "born King of the Jews". Although the account does not tell how many they were, the three gifts led to a widespread assumption that they were three as well.[3] Their identification as kings in later Christian writings is linked to Old Testament prophesies such as that in Isaiah 60:3, which describe the Messiah being worshipped by kings.[4] This interpretation was challenged by the Protestant Reformation.
