INEFFECTUAL, invisible, unable to honour pledges and now blamed for letting Gaddafi off the hook. Why Obama’s gone from ‘Yes we can’ to ‘Er, maybe we shouldn’t’...

Seems about right.

He's all flash and marketing. No substance.

Somebody once said he was a great presidential candidate, but a lousy president.

Yes, the comments seem to fit

I guess I was a bit taken back by the piece though

This want change many minds, as polarized as we are as a nation. Much like supporting your High School Football team, no matter how bad they are, you still stand up and cheer for them.

But it is good to see, some are finally getting it, that this President is no more than an empty suit. More involved with Basketball and sports and having a good old time, than running the business and the affairs of a once great nation.

Obama's trip to South America, will help him relax with family and catch up on some sports reading and see the sites. After all he is far to engage to involve himself in matters of the State, much less the World.

You can get a pretty different view of the world by reading/watching media from other countries.

Of course, you still have to apply your own filter!

A. A lot of people said that about GWB as well. You seemed to disagree with them.
B. The Express doesn't appear to be a bastion of journalistic excellence. It won't participate in any newspaper self-regulation efforts, has lost a LOT of libel cases, and has been censured repeatedly by the Advertising Standard Authority.

I'm sure those are all examples of bias in the entire rest of the British press world :S, with only the Express being right.:|

Or something like that.

In this case, "consider the source" might be valid when it's an opinion piece that you're discussing.

the difference with Obama compared to other leaders is that everyone thinks Obama is a very bad president, not just one side.

There's nothing wrong with a slimy cunt - you just don't necessarily want one running the country!

true ..

And that reminds me...

GWB was chatting the the Queen of England and said that he'd like to make himself the King of America.
"No, you can't" says the Queen, "America is not a Kingdom".

" um" says George "Maybe I can be a Prince".

"Wrong again" says the Queen, "America is not a Principality"

"Well, what are we?"

"Well, you're a country."

"Agh... but everyone already calls me a c****"

That's not true. You have to pay attention to a very limited set of sources to think that all of them think Obama sucks.

Its not the British media its a no brain mid market right wing tabloid.

Why should the USA be dragged into yet another war which would result in the shedding of blood of its youth? Its hardly Obama's fault that the EU has no balls and that the UK Gov has emasculated our armed forces to a point that we can't put our power where our mouth is.
Quite frankly Obama seems t be doing the right thing in Libya and thats watching out for the interests of the county that he runs rather than try to play at being emperor of the world. As for the Libyan revolt who are these would be revolutionaries? Could Ghadafi be right that in fact they are being used by Islamist terror groups? Who would take over in the power vacuum that the crazy one leaving would produce? Rocking the status quo in Libya and endangering the export of oil for the sake of a popular revolution may not be the most sensible of ideas.

The best thing a president can do is not get us into foreign wars. I applaud him for doing the right thing.

this is your opinion which is fine

i think however that maybe even Obama does not agree with you

He flapped his mouth bashing the war and Bush so much he has put himself into a corner. Much like Gitmo he has tied his own hands

As for whether we should or shouldnt

I dont know

I just dont know

He has the most info
