I don't think she should ever have been hired, so the firing should have been a moot point.

Is there a chance the sheriff has done no wrong and it's all BS? Yes. Do I believe it? Not a chance. He has a proven track record of sexual misconduct and corruption/inappropriate conduct. A long time ago a very smart man told me "Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, three times is enemy action."

Do I think she's lying? No. Neither did a grand jury.

It adds up to anyone with basic arithmetic skills (after your tax threads, I understand this may preclude you). The sheriff is a criminal in uniform who's gotten away with too much for too long.
