I was and am happy. on a side note, i still use my Birth Registration Notice not my official Long Form Birth Cert when asked. the long form looks fake. its printed on a modern color printer plus, as i mentioned, has an issue date of 2007. the old form is so much more credible looking in my opinion

There's far more evidence freely available that says he was born in Hawaii than Kenya. Why is it his duty to convince you beyond any reasonable doubt, esp when it's clear that there is nothing that would actually qualify as sufficient proof.

It gets back to simple political reality. If this issue has legs to go beyond internet chain letter bullshit, Hillary Clinton and esp John McCain would have jumped on it. For both of them, disqualifying Obama gave them a guaranteed win to the White House, and I know that neither of them have any ethical qualms in doing whatever it takes to achieve that.

There are a number of politicians I swear who are suffering from Alzheimer's. "The Donald" (technically not a politician ... yet) who is behind this latest "Birther" trend is one who's Alzheimer's must be acting up. We here north of the border have our own politicians (Michael Ignatieff comes to mind) who are showing us what a bad case of early onset of Alzheimer's can do to you.

The GOP does not need this "birther" issue to defeat Obama in 2012. The GOP just needs a good candidate. Obama (who inherited a bad economy) has only made it worse and has done little towards all his empty "Hope and Change" promises. But the GOP will be gifting Obama a second term if they continue to allow people such as "The Donald" or "Sarah Palin" to speak for them. You see, as much as Obama has done little towards fulfilling all of his promises and only made things worse than what they were when he inherited the job, Obama is still young and is NOT showing signs (yet) that his Alzheimer's is setting in. The GOP would be smart if they stated distancing themselves from "The Donald".

Just how naive are you? There is nothing, absolutely nothing that Obama could do to stop this lunatic conspiracy theory. It doesn't matter what documents he produces, the lunatics will say they're fake. If it can be proved they're genuine documents produced by the State of Hawaii, the lunatics will say they were produced from fake records that were generated as part of the cover up because the Governor is Obama's pal.

There is always something else they can pick at, there's always another fake Kenyan birth certificate they can produce. When a conspiracy like this gets started it will never go away.
