AggieDave 6 #4 May 4, 2011 Dude, they borrowed one of PD's helicopters. One of the blacked out choppers they use to do the test jumps on their new gear, all black in color, at night...when there is no moon. The PDFT broke Ian's leg last year to keep him from talking about it! When in doubt, never ever doubt the US military's ability to come up with some really neat stuff and technology. Never doubt their ability to make sure the public doesn't know about it or only has hints about the final product due to side projects.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." I have a friend who is a DoD contractor who is an aerospace engineer and has done a lot of work on some new Blackhawk systems. I won't ask him if it was this, since he wouldn't tell me anyways, but I would like to think it is. He's cool either way, being someone I helped teach how to skydive and now he's on the bigway circuit (and a much better RW jumper than me)!--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." When I work for a defense contractor, we couldn't even ask the guys in the adjacent set of cubes what they were doing. So I'd go down to the local library once a week and read Aviation Leak to find out what they were up to."There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones.
