jimbrown 0 #1 May 27, 2011 Does anyone have any good reason why we should still be in Iraq? Do you also have a good reason why we went there in the first place? More importantly, do you know the true death toll of American soldiers engaged in that war? Peace, Jim B
SivaGanesha 2 #2 May 27, 2011 QuoteDo you also have a good reason why we went there in the first place? We are there because of the power of family ties. Bush 43 went into Iraq to seek retribution for the attempted killing of his father by Saddam Hussein in about 1997. To most Americans the father of Bush 43 is Bush 41. To us the father of Bush 43 is D-20000."It's hard to have fun at 4-way unless your whole team gets down to the ground safely to do it again!"--Northern California Skydiving League re USPA Safety Day, March 8, 2014
flashvortx 0 #3 May 27, 2011 We're in the process of building up their government and military. I've never tried to set up a government and a military, but it doesn't sound very simple. Probably going to take some time. I'm currently in southwest asia, and as calm as it is here, I would much rather be back home enjoying my summer. But there's still a job to do here, unfortunately. BrokenR1 0 #4 May 27, 2011 Yep. I'm here too. Other than the occasional rocket attack it smells like poo! I'm tired of the poo smell! Seriously, everything else is bearable until the smell of the poo hits you! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Rap is to music what etch-a-sketch is to art. Andy9o8 2 #5 May 27, 2011 So we're there for all the usual colonial reasons: to give them flush toilets.
BrokenR1 0 #6 May 27, 2011 Well we brought our own flush toilets apparently and somebody thought it would be a good idea to dump it all in this nice pond and then expand the base around the pond as some sort of main attraction that will never let anybody forget its existence by permeating its smell into their skin for all time and leaving our legacy to the locals to remember us by something other than all other non literal crap that we will leave behind when we pull out. At least the wind shifted for now. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Rap is to music what etch-a-sketch is to art.

Peace, Jim B It's sad to say, but the only people left who think invading Iraq was a good idea are people who need to believe it: people who have lost loved ones in that war.Coreece: "You sound like some skinheads I know, but your prejudice is with Christians, not niggers..."
