jimbrown 0 #1 June 3, 2011 So we're coming up on D-Day and many retired US military who survived that engagement will be travelling by air to Europe. These men, often referred to as "the Greatest Generation" , those who really were (at least in their own minds ) fighting for Liberty and to protect the weak against those who would deny them their Human Rights will be subjected to the TSA searches(possibly groping) at their airport of departure. These guys are like what? 80 years old atleast? They fought to protect the Constitution and The Bill of Rights. They'll be subject to groping by government agents before they board the planes this time. Were all their war efforts and all the deaths of all their buddies during that war in vain? billvon 2,990 #2 June 3, 2011 >Were all their war efforts and all the deaths of all their buddies during >that war in vain? Well, they will be once you discover a theory that makes WWII a selfish greedy power grab. Here, I'll get you started - Did you know that Rear Admiral Robert A. Theobald had proof that the US knew of Pearl Harbor beforehand, but wanted to keep it secret so the US would have an excuse to enter WWII? And that FDR said "the blow was heavier than he had hoped it would necessarily be. ... But the risks paid off, even the loss was worth the price . . ." ? And that he asked the Secretary of War "'how we should maneuver them [the Japanese] into the position of firing the first shot without allowing too much danger to ourselves" ? Go! CornishChris 5 #5 June 3, 2011 If you want to go on board the private airplane out of the private airport then you need to abide by the security provisions put in place. If not don't fly. There was an interesting show in the UK about the liquid bomb plot that was foiled. The bombers were planning to take on board liquid explosive's in drinks bottles and blow them up, hence us now not being able to take liquids on board. They were also planning to take their kids and wives on board and possibly put the liquids in their bags. There are people out there that still wish to do us, the West, damage. Like it or not the TSA are doing what they are doing for the protection of the masses. As far as I am concerned the minority can fuck their whining about privacy if it stops just one attack being foiled. The rest of us who wish to fly just deal with it and realise it is for the greater good. CJP Gods don't kill people. I flew to San Francisco and back about a week ago. My tickets were bought be someone else, who spelled my last name wrong. Neither TSA agent screening me noticed, not even the one who asked me what my name was. The TSA isn't protecting us from anything. - Dan G

Internal tests done on the effectiveness on the TSA have shown in recent years anywhere from 50-90% of test weapons, bombs, etc. made it through undetected and onto the plane. You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions. I can think of a couple thousand people who all died as a result of terrorists on the same day. I'd be willing to bet each and every one of them would have much prefered to have been searched before boarding if it would have prevented the events of that day from unfolding.HAMMER: Originally employed as a weapon of war, the hammer nowadays is used as a kind of divining rod to locate the most expensive parts adjacent the object we are trying to hit. Aluminum foil is what todays fashion conscious conspiracy theorist requires of their habberdashery! Here is one fact,; They are making a record of every keystroke you type and a list of every website you visit. Every cell phone call you make , every e-mail you type ,and every text message you send is on file . So I don't care if you're wearing a nomex impregnated kevlar thong ,(who see's that besides the TSA agent stealing your laptop and what is left of your american pride and dignity? ) You are fucked! But if you are going to be fucked anyway why not be fashionable? Aluminum hats are the way to go during this summer season. PS.., don't forget it is considered a fashion faux pas to wear copper before labor day and never in the rain! Toodles +Peace, Jim B

I bet they would have preferred to have been stripped naked and forced to sit in cages rather than die, too. That's a poor argument for doing it - especially since current security procedures would not have found the box cutters anyway. ====================== TSA hit by new scandal as passenger boards plane with THREE boxcutters - the weapon used by 9/11 hijackers By Daily Mail Reporter A passenger boarded an international flight from New York with three boxcutters in his hand luggage after TSA workers at JFK airport failed to spot the blades. He walked straight through supposedly ramped-up security with the cutters, which were used as weapons by the 9/11 hijackers. =======================
