This must have been very satisfying.
A Florida couple turned the tables on a major bank that tried to falsely foreclose on their home -- and instead wound up foreclosing on the bank.
Warren and Maureen Nyerges' strange twist of fate occurred after Bank of America accused them of defaulting on a mortgage for their single-story, 2,700-square-foot home.
It turned out the Collier County couple had paid cash for the house and didn't have a mortgage.
After dismissing the bank's claim, a judge ordered bank to cough up $2,500 to cover the couple's attorney fees, but the check never came.
So the Nyerges followed the bank's example and went into a local branch Friday with sheriff's deputies, a moving company and an OK from the court to seize the bank's assets.
"I'm either leaving the building with a whole bunch of furniture, or a check or cash or something," insisted the Nyerges' attorney, Todd Allen.
The branch manager eventually cut them a $5,772.88 check to cover the couple's costs.

I love it. Especially since BoA is one of the U.S. corporations that did not pay income tax and seeks to provide banking privileges to illegal aliens.

What a marvelous example of "Christian" values.
Cutting "illegal immigrants" off from access to banking services is helpful in what way?

How does this racist and morally bankrupt way of thinking square with the teachings of true Christainity. You know, help the poor, the downtrodden, the weak and the powerless?

False "Christians" spew a load of tripe about god and the bible, then come back with racist crap like this. It would be really amusing to be present when they move on to the afterlife and are held accountable for their hypocrisy and their perversion of "morality". God will administer harsh punishment, in an evenhanded and morally consistent way.

Well, that didn't take long to turn it into Christian bashing.

Christian values uphold the law of the land. The key word in my position is illegal.

Please do not bore me and the other readers with examples of Christians who run afoul of the law. Yeah, we know that happens just as we know that BoA will continue to support the socialist agenda the same as you do.

Have a nice day comrade. It will get worse.

What exactly does that mean?

A bank. Socialist agenda. A bank?

What does it take for someone to not be a socialist to you?
Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Christians did a great job of upholding the law of the land in Germany circa 1940.

If Jesus did ever come back, would be found at an illegal migrant camp or with Limbaugh on the links?

When Jesus returns, known as the Second Advent, it will be on Mt. Olivet in Jerusalem. So say most of those who study eschatology.

:)
Still gotta wonder how it got that far though. How'd the bank ever think they had a mortgage on it and how did the homeowners not have either the deed or be able to get a copy of it.

So your value system includes support for abortion? I would have thought you would have disagreed with that particular "law of the land."

I do disagree. That's all I can do, except exercise my right to vote.

So Christian values uphold abortion but you just personally disagree with Christian values in that case?

Billvon, you are starting to act like that other twit. I disagree with the law that allows for legal abortions.

I am not endorsing any particular religion but I have noticed that many of us in this forum love taking shots at Christianity but there are few shots at Islam. I wonder if concerns of being visited by a suicide bomber might be the reason.

Does anyone else find it funny that we made a SPORT out of an EMERGENCY PROCEDURE?!?!

No, it's because in the countries that frequent this forum, the foot up the ass most of the posters here grew up with was a Christian one.

So when the law of the land was that it was legal to keep Negroes in slavery it was the "Christian values" which upheld that law?

How about today in Saudi Arabia where the law subjugates women , should Christians in that country"uphold the law of the land".

Are all Christians sheep or are they ready to protest and perform actions of civil disobedience when the "law of the land" is against the teachings of the Master, Jesus the Christ"?

What did Jesus say about torture?

Apparently it is "the law of the land" today, Ron.

I guess you are ok with that.

So be it.
You will come around to the Truth soon enough.

Be careful how you criticize those who torture.

Wow ... how can this happen? Except to say Real Estate Land Titles is incredibly out of date.

It comes about for a few reasons .
One is MERS , another is MBS or mortgage backed securities.
Basicly the banksters commited huge fraud and are scrambling to put any real estate back onto their balance sheet before they get busted and go to jail.
The economy crashing in 98 wasn't the fault of some little guys who couldn't make their mortgage payments .
It wasn't because the government required the banks to make loans they shouldn't have.

It was all about fraud on the part of the Banksters , bundling the same mortgage numerous times into different bundles and selling them as an investment tool, Mortgage backed securities.

Thing is when some of those went south and the foreign investors realized the criminal fraud ,Banksters were going to go to jail!
Good thing the calvary came to the rescue of their fraudulent freinds. The US government put up your money to hide the criminality of these bankers from you.

How do you like those apples?

Snidly Whiplash tied you to the tracks , where is Dudley Do Right?

Peace,
Jim B
