Well if you don't include all the Russians that get imported every year. But at the basic level these two groups lived side by side in peace until WWII when a vast number of settlers from northern Europe showed up and declared "We brought the white women!"

Per my view, if both sides were to set aside the thought that an imaginary guy in the sky thinks that they are the bees knees they both stand to gain stability, peace and prosperity.

Now if we are lucky it's just a "my god is better than your god" view of the problem. But I sadly have a funny feeling that maybe it has a lot to do with skin color as well. We see it all over the world, defacto segregation. But in this case both sides are armed.

You know here is a very dumb thought. Why not do an experiment. Set aside a plot of land, beach front, and invite people from all three sides, the Christians, the Muslims and the Jews to live together for a space of say 5 years. I have a funny feeling it would be an amazing success and would scare the hell out of the leaders on both sides.

I suspect that the results being sought would rapidly evolve into a scenario similar to that which emerged in Rhodesia/Zimbabwe.

For some reason, nobody calls racism when losers are running the show. When you have populations who have turned every locale over which they have had sway into a shithole, people complain when they are not given carte blanche in an area that they have not been allowed to destroy - particularly if it was a shithole when they were in charge.
