In fact, every time I make a jump, somewhere in America, a school lunch tray is being yanked out of the hands of a poor child, who will have to go hungry the rest of the day because of my obsession with freefall. And when I spend thousands of dollars on a new parachute rig, why, hundreds of children have to go without school books. Damn me! The gov'ment should confiscate my skydiving gear to prevent me from wasting money in this sport, which could be better spent educatin' kids and keeping them safe. It's all my fault! And isn't it ironic that this pronouncement for austerity comes on the heels of his wife's vacation in South Africa with an entourage of 400 people at tremendous government expense? How many children could have been fed with that $750,000? Suddenly, my little jump tickets don't seem so evil any more... Maybe I'll keep on skydiving anyway. Many of the same people who caused the financial melt down blamed on GWB are still in their jobs and some of them are now even working for Obama. GWB was public enemy #1 and now Obama has taken over that role. Too bad far too many people rely on the empty promises of politicians.
