Not nearly as improbable of your Akashic map charted magical mysery tour time travels that grant you self proclaimed Omniscience...you may wanna get that flux capitor checked out.

Jim, do you still believe you are God?

I know that each of us is God, singularly and collectively.

Hey his view of god is equally as likely to be true as anyone else's. He has just as much evidence to support his view as you have to support the existence of the Christian God.

No way, he has over 1,000 times as much evidence!

Of course, 1,000 x 0 = 0 , but whatever.

Oh...ok...so he's been raised from the dead with the testimony of eye witnesses who were tortured and killed because they wouldn't deny what they saw and experienced. ALL HAIL DAN JOHNSON!!

The problem is that Brown-Johnson is trying to pass off astral projection as some type of neo-quasi Christianity. Excuse us for taking exception.

If Shotgun came in here talking about astral projection from a buddhist perspective, I doubt you'd see us butting in.

With so many different takes on Christianity I still don't see how his is any less valid then yours or anyone else's.

At least Protestants, Catholics, Jehovah Witness', Mormons agree more than they disagree. There really is no agreement with Brown-Johnson. I mean, like WAY beyond that. He's more radical than scientology. At least Ron Hubbard and Joseph Smith wrote a book, something concrete to explain their rebelious musings.

And they all have no objective evidence to support them.

The anecdotal evidence of Jaybird's kid being sick and then apparently being saved by god, according to Jaybird, is pretty much worthless.

It is kind of weird how he attributes the recovery of his child to god, but doesn't seem to have reason for his kid being sick in the first place. He seems to think the sickness part as being random and the recovery as a deliberate act of god. My view of his story is that apparently god made his kid sick and then cured him for no apparent reason. Kind of a really twisted game if you ask me. I don't think I would like a god like that.

Ooooo.... Coreece...gotta disagree with you there concerning the Mormons & JW's. They radically depart from the fundamentals of what makes Christianity. They fall into the category of cult.

Some things are attributed simply to the fact that we live in an imperfect world tainted by sin in which bad things happen. God causes some things to occur. God allows other things to happen. Either way, God is holy, just, trustworthy, and sovereign. I attribute my son's recovery as well as his sickness to God's Providence. I know God will take care of my son in life or in death. Was there a reason for his sickness? I think so but I'm not certain. I know it greatly strengthened my faith as well as my wife and her mother. And my son understands also. I think his experience will be instrumental in his own faith and walk through life. Bottom line....no matter what happens in life....God is good....all the time.

How do you know that either the JWs or Mormons might not have it right and everyone else is wrong?

If you evaluate the claims of 1,000 religions, at most 1 of them is right.

The more likely number, however, is 0.

As the old quote goes:

"When you understand why you dismiss all of the other possible Gods, you will then understand why I dismiss yours."

Correct

Yours, however, is not the one.

Of course, the only time zero is equal to one is when it is raised to the zeroeth power (the mathematical equivalent of a miracle).

So you are chasing a big zero any way you cut it.

I know, and Brown-Johnson astral projection is like, WAY beyond that in comparrison to those religions against Christianity....that is what I was trying to illustrate.

I still think that if we made a checklist of our beliefs, the JW's will agree with everything except one thing....the Diety of Christ. A disagreement beyond reconciliation.

If we made another checklist of our beliefs, Brown-Johnson astral projection travels Inc. will disagree with everything.

I'd call bullshit on this.
Otherwise 'christianity' would be one singular group of worshipers.
Pretty much the definition of and reason for the varied beliefs.
As the Anabaptists how much the Catholics and Protestants agreed with them.
