Here's the key quote at the center of the issue from the article; Quote"Genitalia is offensive," says Chief Fuda. "As a law enforcement officer, I'll advise that person if it warrants a citation I'll issue a citation. As a father, I wouldn't want my daughter looking at it." Well, damn. I believe it was last year. Do you know if it was passed and signed into law?Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. TrophyHusband 0 #15 July 28, 2011 I don't find them offensive, but I can see where many people would (for example, I wouldn't have something like that where my grandma could see it). I didn't vote because the idea of banning things just feels weird to me. That said, if I stuck a huge red plastic vagina from my differential, I would expect to get pulled over. Would it be a double standard? Probably, genitals are genitals. It's just that far more people are offended by vaginas than a swinging coin purse. One thing to think about though is this, could you get away with displaying a larger than life model of any other genitalia in public? TrophyHusband 0 #17 July 28, 2011 Quote They're offensive, but are protected under the rights granted by the First Amendment so suck it up cupcake. Quote Does the First Amendment extend to public display of large plastic genitalia? Honest question, I really don't know. I didn't realize that was our standard now. Since "offensive" is such a subjective term, an officer has to have some sort of basis at to what is too offensive for public view. "I wouldn't want my daughter looking at it" seems like a reasonable measure. "Your scrotum is quite nice" - Skymama www.kjandmegan.com

Further, pretty much every male mammal on the planet has them. Every natural dog, cat, horse, bull, goat . . . So, is the standard that none of those animals should be allowed to roam free with their nuts showing as well because he "wouldn't want my daughter looking at it"? That's ridiculous.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

"That's just plain nuts" "Bollocks" And of course the sig line "your scrotum is quite nice" Reminds me of something I told my manager after my NetOps unit received a major astchieu from him recently: "If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go outside and pound my nuts flat." mh .
