QuoteQuoteOf course they are relevant. Absurd to claim that they are not.
They're only relevant to your lame distraction attempt.
The income brackets for a particular year are being compared to all returns for a particular year, so no bogus 'demographic changes' are needed.
The percentage of income tax collected from a particular bracket is being compared to the total income tax collected for a particular year, so no bogus 'inflation changes' are needed.
You have told us previously that you know nothing about statistics, and yet you are determined to prove it to us. It's OK, we believe you know nothing about statistics.

That's immaterial to the discussion at hand, as well. Must suck that your argument can't stand on it's own so you have to attack the poster instead.

Nice spin attempt - gotta love the lame attempt to tie it to Cheny, too.
Unfortunately for your argument, it's legal - just like the Indian tribes in the other thread.
It's legal? just like all the people receiving welfare, food stamps, and unemployment. Funny how the Right calls all of these people greedy and lazy, yet when corporations do it, it's legal.
If it were a US company, I would agree - unfortunately for your little diatribe, it's not.
How can you defend that which is nothing more than a file on a computer in the Cayman Islands and used to evade taxes?

Pointing out that the argument is based on an entirely false premise is 'defending'?

Awww tough titty.... perhaps if more people actually did something about where they are stuck at.... but that would require massive plopping sounds all across the Red States as millions of craniums were extracted from rectums.

False premise? These so called "companies" are nothing more than a name. If they are not illegal, they should be. Even though Ingersoll-Rand didn't operate under a shell, they were still able to avoid paying taxes to the U.S. by claiming that Bermuda was their headquarters. They had no office in Bermuda, only an address. In 2002 they avoided $60M in taxes, they were able to get more than $300M in subsidies and loans from the Export-Import Bank. They have continued ti exploit America since. Currently, Ingersoll-Rand is "headquartered" in Ireland.
It is pathetic, the number of companies that call themselves an American company. They are not. They enjoy the protection that America affords them, as long as someone else pays for it. They flat-out refuse to fund this country. Americans, they are not.

"Or let's examine corporate expatriate Ingersoll-Rand, formerly of New Jersey, and now also in Bermuda. Ingersoll-Rand earned as much last year in U.S. defense and homeland security federal contracts as it avoids in U.S. taxes annually merely by renting a mailbox in Bermuda and calling it ‘home.' If Ingersoll-Rand paid its U.S. tax bill, Congress could easily afford to fund the Cyberspace Warning Intelligence Network, estimated to cost $30 million, or it could also buy 400,000 gas masks for American citizens." http://guerillastickers.com/corporate_welfare.htm

I send letters on a number of issues, that concern me, to my representatives. I have a whole list.
As for China taxing so called U.S. companies? They should. They should, also hold them responsible for everything from healthcare to environmental issues. They should hold them responsible for everything and anything that they would be held to here in the U.S.. They should be held accountable for the exploitation of people in sweatshops throughout China. If you are about to balk, just Google "sweatshops in China'.

In case you hadn't noticed, we were discussing the US taxing a company based outside the US. The equivalent would be China taxing, oh, IBM or some other US based company.

Impossible to answer that which only leads to fallacy. The hypothetical question could only be answered two ways. Both conclusions led to firing employees. Either way I answered would had led to that. I don't believe that he intended the fallacy. I have explained my answer. The person who asked it did not reply, either positive nor negative. I can only conclude that he accepted my answer. Whether you accept it or not means nothing.

Again, The King of the Eloquent Prose hits back with another pop fly condescending rhetorical reply. His swing is weak. The crowd is not impressed. It's another out for the King's team.
My original reply was to only only hire what was needed. That is a very common practice in siding. Most large siding contractors use subcontractors to carry out the work they bid on. You know that when the job is completed, your back on the bricks, until the next one. I stand by my answer. Your opinion of my answer is meaningless.

Immaterial. The question didn't ask who you'd hire, it stated that you have 2 existing crews.

Immaterial. The question didn't ask who you'd hire, it stated that you have 2 existing crews.
And I answered accordingly, concerning two crews.
Why is it such a major concern of yours? What is your argument? Please explain in detail. Include a thesis statement, evidence and support, and a counterargument.
Be aware that points will be deducted for misspelling, improper use of punctuation, as well as mechanical errors.
I will expect your argument to be clear, as well as relevant. Your argument will contain the opinion versus argument. Be sure to include weak versus strong arguments. Failure to include these elements will result in a non-passing grade.
Good luck in satisfying my requirements.
