pierre3636 0 #1 August 21, 2006 I have a question about using longer bridals - I have a 3m bridal on my wing suit rig and was wondering about all the extra complications I should be thinking about with using the longer bridal. Any ideas? Would the longer bridal put me in the same or a worse off position on any kind of malfunction? Has anyone ended with a two out scenario where the longer bridal was the source of a problem (and lived to tell). ~ time is ~ time was ~ times past ~

SkymonkeyONE 4 #3 August 21, 2006 I jump a wingsuit-length bridle on both of my rigs and have never had a problem with them on any "regular" jumps. I started jumping them in 2000. Chuck
BenediktDE 2 #4 August 21, 2006 It is said that you should not use a hackey if you have an extended bridal but a light plastic grip because the Hackey is more likely to be tied up with the bridal. A malfunction a friend of mine had a few weeks ago.For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

Our landing on an out-field was without problems. We searched his main that was still in the bag for 11 hours... For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
