extended bridal

Recommended Posts

I have a question about using longer bridals - I have a 3m bridal on my wing suit rig and was wondering about all the extra complications I should be thinking about with using the longer bridal. Any ideas? Would the longer bridal put me in the same or a worse off position on any kind of malfunction? Has anyone ended with a two out scenario where the longer bridal was the source of a problem (and lived to tell).

It is said that you should not use a hackey if you have an extended bridal but a light plastic grip because the Hackey is more likely to be tied up with the bridal. A malfunction a friend of mine had a few weeks ago.
For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

He pulled - noticed that nothing was out and went for his EPs. He was unter his reserve at 2,500 ft. Our landing on an out-field was without problems.

We searched his main that was still in the bag for 11 hours... :S
