They think that allowing people licensed to carry guns from other states, into their states, will suddenly cause a bunch of shootings, that otherwise would not have occured. But these same people are NOT shooting people unjustifiably in their home states where they're licensed. They are very law-abiding. So in order to believe the gun-o-phobes, you would have to believe that there is some reason why licensed gun carries don't shoot people in their home states, but when crossing a state line somehow they suddenly become more prone to shoot others. Can any of you anti-gun folks explain this predicted phenomenon? What is it about crossing a state line that would make a licensed gun carrier likely to start shooting people? We've already seen this same anti-gun prediction fail when National Parks were forced to accept gun carry. The people licensed to carry guns in the state in which the park was located, started carrying their guns into the Parks, and lo and behold, nothing happened! Crossing an imaginary line across the road did NOT make them suddenly want to start shooting. Amazing, but true! And yet, these gun-o-phobes are trotting out the same old tired prediction once again, in their argument against national concealed carry reciprocity. Tsk tsk. Crossing lines on maps does not change a person's demeanor towards shooting others. Crossing lines on maps does not transmogrify law-abiding citizens into murderous thugs.
