Fresh out of ROTC, and automatically "in charge" of folks who have more time in firefights than he has in service. The PAO due thought it was funny, and later the BN CDR laughed about when we chatted. Being retired allows me a few more degrees of latitude when it comes to honesty and directness with the Higher Ups. MattAn Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
