Gravitymaster 0 #4 March 9, 2012 QuoteYep, it's a target-rich environment. That's your bias. Others see it differently. Limbaugh calls a woman a slut, lefties get in an uproar. Bill Maher calls a potential Presidential candidate a "c*nt" and a "dumb twat"the left-wingers laugh and laugh. http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/03/08/critics-of-rush-limbaugh-ignore-bill-maher-matt-taibbi-misogyny.html http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikW7ljSm3Fs The Onion has become another unfunny right-wing bashing site. jakee 1,556 #5 March 9, 2012 Quote The Onion has become another unfunny right-wing bashing site. Hope you enjoy supporting it. Beg to differThe thing is (as the article mentions) that Republican candidates pander to the extreme social right in a way that Democrats don't do with the left. McCain had a chance to be the guy that reversed the trend and realised that the 'core' vote was actually the centre-right and not the religious extremists but then he bottled it and teamed up with Palin and the downward spiral has continued from there. That's the thing. No matter how well their policies on how to actually run the country compare, Democrats don't bend over backwards to keep the communists happy, while Republicans won't shut up about God, Guns and Gays. It's ripe for satire.Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Gravitymaster 0 #8 March 9, 2012 Quote>Right, because socialized medical care isn't pandering to the communists. Romney is pandering to communists? O the horror! Yep, that's why he's not real popular among conservatives and Republicans. He has stated that he will do everything possible to repeal Obamacare if elected. Many right-wingers do not trust him. Marinus 0 #9 March 9, 2012 QuoteThe thing is (as the article mentions) that Republican candidates pander to the extreme social right in a way that Democrats don't do with the left. I would say that "left" hardly exists in the USA. What's considered left in the US is considered centre (maybe even a bit right of centre) in much of the Western world. What's called right is indeed considered far right on this side of the pond. So yeah, I think you're right there. But then again, left and right aren't exactly fixed terms. lawrocket 3 #15 March 9, 2012 Quotehat Republican candidates pander to the extreme social right in a way that Democrats don't do with the left Hmmm. There's only one Dem candidate right now. He already pandered to extreme members of the left. They're satisfied with him. The Dem candidate needs to do nothing but sit back and watch. High unemployment and high fuel prices would be death for any other candidate. Only the Republicans could be so foolish as to blow this opportunity. And they will. My wife is hotter than your wife.
