jclalorWell hopefully the obligatory civil suit that is sure to follow will succeed, i
Hopefully, if TM's family files it, they will spend big bucks and then lose. Especially if their suit is funded by the Black mafia. They need to get over the fact that their child could have just gone home and watched the rest of the basketball game and none of this would have happened. Instead, he chose to confront this "cracker" and he lost his life because of it.
I expect many things the prosecution knew but did not release will now come out. This is the pathetic state of our legal system because of the whores who practice law.

It must be of great comfort to you to know that if your Lord Jesus were here today, that he would be in the Zimmerman camp offering comfort to the transgressed.

Once again, you apparently have confused me with someone else.

Why? Because you have mountains of evidence saying GZ is guilty that the jury didn't have?

ryoderThis was a posting on Slashdot today:
QuoteI watched the coverage gavel to gavel of the Zimmerman trial. What was on Trayvon Martin's phone is maybe the most damaging information of all to the State's case. It is incredibly damaging to Trayvon Martin and his family and introduces criminal findings against them.
The State withheld evidence that Trayvon Martin was dealing and using drugs, dealing illegal firearms, and was in possession of an illegal firearm. And that Trayvon Martin was into fighting and beating people up and had punched someone in the nose earlier that month. And that he had assaulted a public bus driver and the police showed up but the driver was told to continue his route and not press charges.
There is also significantly strong evidence that Trayvon Martin's father was working with his son to acquire illegal weapons and that his father's nickname 'Fruit' was used amongst organized gang circles. There are texts that mention buying and selling pistols. And even a photo of Trayvon holding an illegal pistol. The photo is all over the internet and is not hard to find. The State withheld all of this and forced the defending attorneys to run around in circles to obtain the phone data.
The judge also ruled that none of the phone data on Trayvon Martin's phone was admissible. Why? Because there was no hard proof that Trayvon was actually the one operating the phone when those messages were sent and received. And that "anyone could have been operating Trayvon's phone at any time". The phone was DOUBLE password protected and took the State an entire year to crack. But the State said in court that even a "seven-year-old child could have cracked the phone and sent those messages". The judge agreed.
This case is disgusting. It is clear from top to bottom that it was rigged. When you have even the President of the United States deliberately poisoning the jury pool by commenting on the situation without knowing any discovery evidence years before a trial begins it is unreal. The State of Florida is out of control. This entire affair was a political theater event designed to win some elections.
Here is a video from the trial of testimony by Richard Conner, who did forensic study of Trayvon's cellphone. Note that the jury was not present to hear this. This video in an hour long, so you might just want to jump to 22:00 where the contents of the hidden messages are discussed:

rwiederQuoteYup...how dare he exercise his right to go where he wants.
Had he done as instructed, there's a real possibility Trayvon would be alive right now. Don't be happy because GZ got off. I remember OJ Simpson was found "Not Guilty" I was mad as hell. He killed those people and everyone knew it. He got away with it for what ever the reason. Just because he got off, doesn't mean he wasn't guilty.
Best-
Richard
And just because you think he is guilty does not make it so
And he did return to his vehicle and TM jumped him
Even most of those who agreed with you early on, who watched this show trial, believed he was going to walk
if we falter and lose our freedoms,
it will be because we destroyed ourselves."

Nope, because some people just cannot come to terms with the fact they are just plain wrong and that their thinking is defective. They will constantly seek out justification and couldn't care less about the truth or the reality.

I've been a trial litigator (both civil and criminal) in multiple jurisdictions for 25 years. I would predict that 90+% of trial judges anywhere in the country would have ruled most, if not all, of that inadmissible.
I've generally avoided reading this thread. In the vast majority of the commentary here about the various legalities, people (on both sides) for the most part haven't known what the hell they were talking about.
Peace out.

The burden of liability is much less in civil court, a jury need only find a person more likely than not to have acted negligent. it's also going to be nice to see all usual suspects that claim the system work, applaud the civil verdict.
Yeah, unlike the lying, deceitful, convict at all costs, scumbags in the prosecutors office who know what they are talking about.

So we have you officially on record proclaiming a civil case will be filed and GZ will lose?

I would not be surprised by a civil suit from the family, and also would not be surprised to see federal civil rights charges. There are already rumors of the latter.
Just google: zimmerman federal charges

I'm aware of that. So you think the evidence shows that it is 51% likely that GZ did something wrong? Because I wouldn't even give them 5%.

On one hand, I can see that the judge would throw it out because it was not *directly* relevant to this incident.
On the other hand, I think that the defense had duty to introduce it to show that the deceased not only liked to fight, but had a history of *starting* fights.

Jclalor is already on record that no federal charges will be filed. I'm just trying to clarify his position on a civil suit and the resulting outcome. Some just cant be satisfied until they feel vengeance has been wrought on an innocent man and he has been destroyed. Just more of the usual hate from the left.

Which is what the trial showed TM did

That was not intentional. Only thing I could see was negligence based... but nothing even remotely more than that.
