kelpdiver 2 #82 April 17, 2012 QuoteThese are the results when registered voters are asked: "Suppose the presidential election were held today. If Barack Obama were the Democratic Party's candidate and former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney were the Republican Party's candidate, who would you vote for Barack Obama, the Democrat or Mitt Romney, the Republican?" Those who are undecided are further asked if they lean more toward Obama or Romney and their leanings are incorporated into the results. Note also the abrupt reversal in the past week. Seems a bit hard to support. Also the use of registered voters, not likely. but that is two polls now. Just remember that Dukakis had a big lead in the summer of 1988. It's a bit easier when the incumbent is still ignoring you.

rhystoo 0 #84 April 27, 2012 QuoteRP's biggest problem is there is a 3 way, concerted effort between right, left, and the media to silence & ignore him. He didn't even get 90 seconds of air time on one debate. They pretend he can't get elected, and then when he almost wins Iowa (but doesnt) they play it up and create a self fulfilling prophecy with voters that might have picked him later. All that taken into consideration, he won Iowa and Minnesota looks like Washington and probably a few more of the caucus states.... Remember the MSM told us that he did not win, could not win, ignored him, laughed at him and ridiculed him. All the while he was winning. He is also gathering crowds other candidates could only dream of. He is by far the most popular of the politically active, the lemmings however seem to decide the fate of the world and the PNAC control the media that decides for them. http://www.slate.com/blogs/weigel/2012/04/23/ron_paul_wins_minnesota_delegates_by_a_landslide.html http://www.ibtimes.com/articles/333906/20120426/ron-paul-2012-delegates-news-romney-convention.htm http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIP-ibpRYIY Plenty of videos like this from every state. RonD1120 62 #92 November 5, 2012 My wife and I just spent ten hours on the road driving from the north GA mountains to the Tampa Bay Area. We listened to NPR most of the drive. All their poll reports favor BHO for the win. However, the entire trip we saw only two Obama/Biden bumper stickers but many for Romney/Ryan. Furthermore, Romney/Ryan road advertisements, of several types, were all along the route. We saw none for BHO. What does this mean? I don't know but it sure caught my attention.Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. Let your soul absorb them. Everything I've read is that this is going to be exceptionally close, but the popular vote is leaning Romney, and the electoral college vote is leaning Obama. I live in a very Republican area, so seeing Obama/Biden stickers, signs, or pins is rare just on the basis of support. But travelling, maybe Romney supporters are just more likely to express their opinion with bumper stickers? I dunno. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!"
