What else I find interesting is websites that look at the internals of those polls where the data is made public.
It seems that most of the time what the news org headline is about the poll is just a side note of a small portion of the sample that supports thier news need for the day
At a time in my work life I spent nearly a year working to get a performance report out of a huge programs data tables
It had to compared results against known performance over and over again until the report design got it right
(and I know if it hit 60% accuracy I was doing well)
I also learned I could get the report to say anything I wanted it too and could get it to show anything I wanted. And unless someone got into the data base as deep as I was , I could sell the report as accurate.
In the end there is only one poll that counts
That one is coming this Nov.
