You are the one making slanderous statements about "proceeds" (as opposed to "the proceeds") and are unable to back them up. Libelous. Good to see you finally admit it. That only took 2 pages of tap dancing. Kallend would be proud of you.

Gravitymaster 0 #78 August 24, 2012 He's saying his statements are libelous. See, that's an old SC trick I learned from you. The master of distraction.

No, that's not what was said. What was quoted was: "A spokesman at Dutton, a division of Penguin Group, said proceeds from the book will be donated..." "PROCEEDS", not "THE PROCEEDS". Significant difference. Great, let's hear your definition of proceeds. What is your definition of proceeds? Do you think the statement means the author will make no money from the book?Do you want to have an ideagasm?

jakee 1,489 #81 August 24, 2012 So why are you beating everyone over the head with the statement? The default position, unless shown to be otherwise, is that the author of a published book will be paid for writing the book. It's how publishing works. It's how the entire western world works. It's an absolute nonsense to claim that the idea of a publisher paying a writer for a book is "a wild accusation" and it is absolutely bizarre to claim that 'accusation' is either slanderous or libelous. How could it possibly be? In fact, this entire conversation is baffling. Talking to you is like falling down the rabbit hole.Do you want to have an ideagasm?
