dmcoco84 5 #77 November 11, 2012 QuoteQuoteAnd with how long I have been calling you on your BS history, you know exactly who I am. You think far too much of yourself. Your thoughts and opinions are about as important as your empty profile, so why should I give a fuck? Meh. Go live in your fantasy world where I care about you or what you have to say. Fine by me. You are extremely predictable. Saying my name is well known, isn't boasting. Yet again, you reach for the easiest possible distraction, instead of facing the issues. Very Cowardly. Not only have we talked through PM, quite a bit, but my user ID, is, my name. It changes nothing if I listed Virginia, and Nomad for Home DZ. You are still wrong about that snake, the DOI, and the Constitution. You figure out what the Pursuit of Happiness means yet? Fantasy world... that's funny. Like the fantasy that is Climate Change. lawrocket 3 #84 August 16, 2014 quadeIt's better that you've at least seen the transcript and have some idea what you're talking about. As you've correctly indicated, it doesn't show tone of the speakers. If you had watched the program you may have noticed an incredible amount of snarky smugness from the folks who have pretty much just admitted they've pulled the wool over the eyes of the American people and believe they've "won" by casting and promoting doubt as opposed to addressing the science. What confuses me is, didn't they understand what the camera was doing; recording them for posterity? I hope that piece of digital data lives for a hundred years. I watched it today. I don't think my perceptions have changed much from what I wrote on there, with the exception of having a bit better of an understanding. What I identified is that this is a piece that was about the POLITICS of climate change. Not climate change itself. How the political momentum of climate change shifted, why it shifted, etc. The smug guys? Yeah - it showed. And why were they smug? Because they had a job to do and they did it. I looked at how LITTLE science was actually involved. Seriously. They interviewed the odd scientist here and there. IT did demonstrate that the political and economic realities control the debate. Al Gore winning the Nobel Prize? Yeah - in the long run a good thing for those against climate regulation. The economy - no, climate is not on the top of the list of concerns, anymore. The program was about political process and the reality of it. Had it been aired in October, 2005 the political reality would have been very different. That hurricane season provided the momentum needed where the alarmist crowd could point. Now, two years later, what do I see? I think I see a lot more discussion actually occurring. More questions being asked. And we've got some more discussions about the uncertainties. Watching it was not a waste of my time. But I think the transcript was a far more useful thing. The program was about politics - using climate change as its subject of examination. And made the mistake of mistaking the politics for the underlying science. My wife is hotter than your wife. Your thoughts and opinions are about as important as your empty profile, so why should I give a fuck? Meh. Go live in your fantasy world where I care about you or what you have to say. Fine by me. There is a reason for empty profiles on this forum for obvious reasons...I'm sure you're quite aware of them. ...besides, wasn't it you who said that your favorite tactic is to "limit your overall exposure" with regard to attacks and data collection? I post on this forum to argue, to provide insight, to hear various perspectives, and at times to be a complete obnoxious asshole...It also gives me a reference to my faults and areas of my life where I can improve. I come here with complete anonymity, with multiple names, ideologies and IP addresses. I just hope some poor innocent soul doesn't lose his job over it...Also, there are many other people on this forum who "think too much of themselves," namely, stayhigh, but you don't bother to point it out because you agree with them... BTW, if you don't give a fuck, why did you respond?
