You honestly, and truly believe she doesn't know what wiping a hard drive is. My guess is that if you searched her emails you will find the term "wiped" several times. Seriously, be genuine to yourself, do you really believe in your heart that she doesn't know what wiping a server is? My 5 year old niece, 10 years ago knew what that was. Or are you saying she not as smart as a 5 year old?I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun

Perhaps we should come up with a study guide for them then. I would certainly expect basic knowledge of computer workings. Again I ask, genuinely, do you believe Hillary Clinton does not know what wiping a hard drive or server is? Even if it still just meant to her, that the files were deleted. normiss 851 #1888 August 19, 2015 Having a tad over 30 years of IT and network engineering, I've had PLENTY of bosses that had no clue what we actually did. I still see a ton of people that have no clue when it comes to the technical details of technology. Directors that require their admin to PRINT all e-mails for storage. It's so not uncommon as to be very common. Knowing your line of work, I would expect quite similar experiences.

I was at Microsoft for several years during the idiocy with the DOJ... and yes... management with very bright people at the helm were clueless to what the DOJ really wanted them to implement. The process for decommissioning one of our servers is really a stupidly wasteful way of dealing with the outdated tech.... that could easily be reused by schools or charitable organizations... but nope...When I get done with one its pretty much ready to be crushed and the metals recycled and that is about it.
