Amazes me that people will argue for cheap guns for the poor, but at the same time will argue against cheap education, food and health care for those same poor and see absolutely nothing wrong with those priorities.

I'm agreeing! No one is safe without a dozen or so semiauto weapons. Anyone who does not own such things is effectively dead. (In fact logic says they must already be dead, so the problem should have solved itself.)

I'd prefer tax money be used to help poor people get food and shelter, something that the right wing routinely opposes.
Maybe you can get one of those "Faith Based Initiatives" so beloved of the right to pay for guns for the poor. I'll stick to helping them avoid starvation and hypothermia.

We all have to decide what our priorities are. The poor can't afford a lot of things that fat cats can afford, like private schools for their kids, healthy food, fancy houses in wooded lots... I'm told that there are even people who sleep under bridges because they have nowhere else to go. Of course, the Tea Party wants them to pay tax anyway so the super rich can pay less.
BTW, I have a Subaru, not a limousine.
