QuoteToronto police have the video
If this is The Video and the Toronto Police say the video does not contain enough evidence to press charges, might this just be yet another example in the long list of examples where the Consensus Mainstream Media attempts to invent news instead of reporting it? Or do Progressives feel that they are entitled to convict anyone they wish of a crime despite not having the evidence for charges let alone a conviction. So much for "Innocent until proven guilty". Let the witch hunt begin, it is after all Halloween.

Police Cjief says it does portray what has been reported in the media, but wouldn't say anything else.
Obviously it doesn't contain enough evidence to press charges, they sould have to establish that what was in the pipe was an illegal substance, which would be impossible to do from the video.
I do think it is time for him to step down for the good of Toronto. If he has a substance abuse problem, he needs to get help for that! Hopefully Karen Stintz or maybe John Tory would win the mayorship in the next election. Need more time before the NDP tries to get in again....
QuoteIf he has a substance abuse problem
The guys smokes weed (he's even admitted this) ... as do many others, including Trudeau JR (who's been praised by his media friends for coming out). If you or anyone else has credible evidence that Ford's substance abuse is anything worse than weed or Kentucky Fried Chicken, then by all means bring it forward. Until then this remains another prime example of how ridiculous the Consensus Mainstream Media has become.

I have no issue with him smoking weed.
But his behaviour, coupled with evidence being brought forth now has made it almost impossible for him to do his duty as mayor of Toronto. Hence, he needs to step down for the good of the city.
Then if he has a substance abuse problem he really needs to find help for himself.
I like what Ford stands for and I like what he has done for Toronto. But, he has not done himself any favours and has landed in a position where he is quickly becoming a liability to Toronto.
Like I said, I hope conservative candidates like Karen Stintz (who declared last week she is running in next year's election), or John Tory have a good running in the next election.
PS: Are you also calling for Kathrine Wynne to step down? As an insider to McGuinty's Liberal government, she and the rest of her clan have done way more damage to the people of Ontario than Ford has done to Toronto. Of course she gets a free pass from her friends in the media.

CanuckInUSARob Ford as well as a number of other high profile politicians are acting like Baffoons these days. It makes you shake your head at all these politicians. There is not an honest one out there on both sides of the fence.

I think people from the previous liberal government should be criminally charged and prosecuted for their roles in the cancellation of the power plants yes. Kathrine Wynne came in after that process was completed. Don't take that as me saying I am a fan of hers. McGuinty should be standing in front of a judge.
I am not blaming the media for this though, I blame my fellow citizens.

Huh? Kathrine Wynne is not some new politician. She was a cabinet minister in the McGuinty Liberal Government. She was very much involved in the backroom decision making processes of this government. Actually I am not calling for Wynne to resign. But she should have called an election. Now with her back giving special financial favours to her public sector union allies and with the NDP propping her up, the only losers are the Ontario tax payers who are getting royally shafted.

Wynne was co-chair of the campaign during which the liberals axed the plants to save seats. She did NOT COME IN AFTER THE FACT. And she continued in the stonewalling and cover-up. She should be up for contempt along with Chiarelli, McGoofy and Bentley.

Actually what is causing ford difficulty now is a certain police chief defying all rules and holding press conference about an ongoing case (after refusing to comment on how many others including his own conduct in the G20 riots), And it is way to soon to say that Ford can't do his job - he's been counted out before.
I used to think he was a conservative but I watch Tory's show all the time - he seems to have no problems with the way the liberals have conducted themselves since the last election. He is certainly no conservative.
I wouldn't trust Karen stintz further than I could throw her. Rarely seen such a smarmy self-serving ambitious politician in my life.

In this particular case it seems to be the chief of police out to get ford. Totally inappropriate. funny he couldn't talk about other investigations, but he can talk about this one about his boss.

I am done defending this idiot and I now agree with you that he needs to go.
"Yes I have smoked crack cocaine" - Rob Ford
WTF is going on in Ontario these days? It's bad enough that the 2nd most populous province, Quebec is an economic basket case with all their politicians in bed with the mob. But now the most populous province, Ontario has a corrupt and ever so arrogant Liberal Provincial Government who waste billions and billions dollars pushing their Fabian Socialism, and this clown of a man who clearly is incapable of taking a serious job serious. I am sorry Rob Ford, but being on one of your drunken stupors is no excuse.
