Do you believe the default position is necessarily the correct one? You would be hard pressed to find any real researcher who would accept those linked sites as credible sources of information. The default position is just that, default. It is certainly open for questioning if credible evidence supporting an alternate conclusion is provided. In this case, you haven't provided any credible support for your claim.Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!

billvon 3,064 #60 May 27, 2013 >Actually the default position is that it can be done No, the default position is that you cannot do something until you prove you can. For example, you could claim that you can jump 100 miles in the air. Is that impossible? No. But until you do it, the default position is that people cannot jump 100 miles in the air. quade 4 #61 May 27, 2013 Additionally, before a person claims they've hit a home run, they probably ought to be in the ball park. The difference between cloud seeding an the ability to steer or create an F5 tornado is perhaps a dozen orders of magnitude in terms of required energy. Billvon's example of someone claiming a person has the ability to jump 100 miles is too small of a comparison.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

ayevee8toryear 0 #63 May 28, 2013 Your lack of comprehension astounds me. That goes for pretty much everyone that has replied. I have not said once that 'I know' it is possible to create a tornado. I have simply said is naive to suggest it is impossible. This my own agnostic standpoint and it is something I am comfortable with. Nothing any of you have said suggests otherwise. You foolishly suggest it is only possible to create isolated drizzle for example, when it is clear this is not the case. You move your position without explanation. Nobody is sure that creating a Tornado is impossible. Therefore nobody is sure it cannot be done or is not already being done. Many weapons that are banned are still being used. Why would there necessarily be public evidence of them. None of your rationales make sense. To be so sure, one would have to know everything and this is impossible even though I am sure many of you would argue against that. LOL. There is so much ignorance in this thread I am not going to participate any more. It is not worth the energy. Know it all's will never admit defeat. Really after explaining 3 times you still do not understand that I have never once suggested that I necessarily believe it. Are you people really that stupid? Or are you simply not willing to accept any opinion other than your own. If you would actually address my points you might have a debate but until then you idiots (plural no personal attack) are simply trolls. No wonder our world is fucked, it is full of idiots like you lot. hypocrites. Good bye.
mistercwood 287 #73 May 28, 2013 Stated? No. Suggested? You betcha. The sources you've used for your argument that this level of weather control is in fact possible (I trust I'm correctly assessing that as your position? That regardless of whether it's being done, it's capable of being done with current technology?), are a combination of hearsay and conjecture. It's been stated (accurately) that the physics just don't work. Each of your points HAVE been addressed, you just didn't like it when everyone shot you down. Poor thing. Oh well. We'll miss you!
