And if the allegations are completely false and malicious fabrications, there are no consequences for the plaintiffs. Depends; they (plaintiffs) could potentially face liability under theories of Malicious Prosecution and/or Abuse of Process. Here are a couple of links to those causes of action under Nevada law.
