But its a good value compared to the cost of hospital bills and missed time from work. How do ya like it Johnny?
Chris-Ottawa 0 #27 August 4, 2006 100% agreed. Except we don't pay for medical up in the great North, so that's not a concern. I got both rigs back and it cost me alot less than I was expecting, so it all worked out well. I'm just glad I didn't choose to ride it down because I know I would have at the VERY least, broke both legs..."When once you have tasted flight..." warpedskydiver 0 #28 August 6, 2006 I read about the malfunction and my first thought was... CHING! I do not think after the first part of the problems I would have contemplated it any further. At least I hope I would cut away and choose a reserve ride.

You should consider yourself lucky. On my cutaway I lost a freebag and a reserve ripcord. And I know a person who also lost his main (which also means a new pilot chute, d-bag, toggles and risers). Well, this is not cheap sport :)* Don't pray for me if you wanna help - just send me a check. *
