Now that's just cruel, but since it came from smartass with one wing under repair, we'll let it pass this time.:P

I thought you were talking about michael schumacher.

Ironically I watched Rush the racing movie about formula 1 during the 70's about James Hunt and niki lauda. This was a very accurate movie about racing...probably because it was based on real life events. I thought it was a good movie.

Anyone who manages to get hurt cross country skiing should probably remove him or herself from the gene pool.

Both my parents (well, one step) did. Those 180 degree reversals can be murder on the knee on Sierra Cement. They also make for lousy downhill skis - I strained a shoulder with a fall.

When Krusty the Clown played Eastern European version of Itchy and Scratchy - that's how cross country relates to skiing. A crude and painful 4th order approximation.

Some would argue that cross-country skiing isn't really skiing at all.

Anyone who manages to get hurt cross country skiing should probably remove him or herself from the gene pool. What a dumb statement. You need to do some cross-country skiing in the Rockies.

If I'm going to be on skis in the rockies, it's not going to be for cross country.

She's 59. I doubt she's going to get herself knocked up any time soon. ;)

But, HEY, if she lived here, she'd have maternity insurance.:|

Isn't that great for her?[:/]

Man, one of the ski junkies here was talking to a newbie in my office about it and that shit sounded severely dangerous. And this is coming from a guy who jumps out of airplanes for fun. He was talking about the possibility of dislodging an avalanche and saying that you could ski reasonably safely with a 2-3 foot avalanche as long as you didn't fall. Nonetheless he recommended carrying a beacon in case your buddies had to locate and dig you out. Think I'll stick to nice safe wingsuiting, thanks... :S

I'm trying to teach myself how to set things on fire with my mind. Hey... is it hot in here?
