davjohns 1 #26 January 8, 2014 Personally, I'd like to see the welfare benefits for procreation straightened out. Turtle's link is certainly disturbing. An easy quick action is to take away the tax incentives for having more kids. I'm sure nobody is having kids for the deduction, but it's a small step in the right direction.I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.
grue 1 #27 January 8, 2014 Arvoitus I think the biggest problem in your plan is that all the western developed countries have planned and built their societies around continual expansion. There is a constant need to have more children born into this world, so that they can't start working to pay off all the expanses accrued by the older people. Basically all the western economies are just massive ponzi schemes built around the idea there'll always be more participants. Not my fault that these morons planned poorly cavete terrae.
