davjohns 1 #27 January 13, 2014 Being 'Christian' is similar to many other things...it means what you want it to mean. I may always remember the true/false statement on a psychological test I took once (MMPI). It said, "I believe in God." T/F I asked the lady administering the test what help that was. Some people believe in God and they are incredible people. Some people believe in God and they are terrorists. Some believe in God and it has no apparent effect on their lives. Being Christian, Muslim, etc seems to be about like that. It can mean everything or nothing.I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. While I am a person of faith, I say 'gesundheit' too, since a) it is in common usage, b) I speak some German and know what it means and most importantly c) the origin of how "Bless you!" came into usage for people who sneezed is very silly.
