craddock 0 #27 February 28, 2014 Now come on.. if he really wanted to shoot something why did a man with a life threatening heart condition keep his weapon holstered while this animal came at him a second time? Not until it made contact did he realize how bad of a situation he put himself into. Yes he really screwed up on this one. Once the hooves made contact after charging he made a decision for him and his son. Clearly this decision is not supported by all but what does it have to do with Black Teenagers? Did I miss something in the news or is this just plain racist? That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side. quade 4 #28 February 28, 2014 craddock... why did a man with a life threatening heart condition ... ... Go out in the middle of winter on a snowmobile? Something tells me either his condition isn't quite so "life threatening" or it's complete bullshit.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
craddock 0 #29 February 28, 2014 quade***... why did a man with a life threatening heart condition ... ... Go out in the middle of winter on a snowmobile? Bucket list? Quade would you have just laid in bed all day? I have a feeling there might actually be skydivers that would conceal the condition from a DZ to continue to enjoy their passion in life "get busy living or get busy dying!" Now were going to fault the guy for that? That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side. quade 4 #30 February 28, 2014 Admit it, that part of the story is complete bull. It doesn't pass the sniff test of logic.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
craddock 0 #31 February 28, 2014 Maybe so. I will admit it is questionable seeing it might just be a defense and limited other info was released. But....... The same has been said about several things many of us have done. Hell, once the boys from Precision Aerodynamics chewed MY ass when they found out SOMEONE swooped Skydive Chicago's swimming/ retention pond. Anyone that his seen it knows what is on all four sides of it and it's surroundings. Zero outs. And this guy did it at 11 PM with nothing but a bonfire and a couple low wattage tiki lights to guide him in. No much logic in that many said. And then it was ME that got scolded for it weeks later from Chris and Beezy when it was being talked about. But yes, it could be a defense made up. But that heart condition wouldn't stop many of us if that was our passion. Admit that it least. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.
