dks13827 3 #102 July 22, 2014 Do we HAVE to wear a rubber ? ( I wear a helmet but do NOT want helmet laws. ) I also work in a government job and I see how many people who cannot run their lives any better than a 6 year old. I hate seeing it. Our schools are a complete joke.
stayhigh 2 #103 July 22, 2014 Does all of these people that are aginst the helmet law in this forum jump without a helmet and an add?? I thought people would be smart enough to just wear one by now.Bernie Sanders for President 2016
normiss 854 #104 July 22, 2014 Sometimes with, sometimes without. It IS my choice. What's an add? Which has nothing to do with wearing a helmet BTW.

Every few years I do a jump in street clothes with just a rig (no RSL, no AAD, no altimeter, no goggles) because 1) it's fun especially when it's hot out, and 2) on the day I am too scared to do that, I will know I've gotten too gear-dependent. normiss 854 #106 July 22, 2014 I used to make a habit out of stopping by the DZ during work hours while out on calls. In business slacks, removed the shoes and socks so I was barefoot, an undershirt, no helmet, no goggles, rental gear. I need to get back to that! Nice one Bill. diablopilot 2 #107 July 22, 2014 QuoteIs anybody surprised that an agency charged with the prevention of disease, injury, disability, and death would suggest that maybe people should wear a helmet? The root of the problem is that this is not what the government is designed to do. Basic biology suggests that continuing to do so will result in the weakening of the species and it's society.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are.
