jakee 1,563 #376 August 20, 2014 airdvr******For lack of more information it comes down to whether you believe ANY LEO would fire 6 shots at someone who was trying to surrender. I don't. Why not? Cops are people. Within the group of cops and police departments as a whole there are heroes, good guys, average guys, nasty guys, organised crime syndicates and plain old sociopaths. Really? Why not? So you're saying you believe a LEO would do that? Yeah. Some cops are murderers. Some cops are drug dealers. Some cops are drug lords. Some cops are crime syndicate bosses. Some cops have anger management issues. Some cops are psychopaths. Just like the rest of society.Do you want to have an ideagasm?

rehmwa 2 #381 August 20, 2014 AmazonI think we saw a GREAT example of how most of the residents in that community REALLY feel about this issue last night. They joined hands and kept the trouble makers ( the few) who are causing (The many) residents to get painted with the clueless title of this thread. fix it for you - we see many communities with great individuals like that. They really are the ones being hurt the most by those misbehaving (the subset of their members and the subset of the cops) ... Channman 2 #382 August 20, 2014 I find no one looking into the Officer's injuries he suffered at the hands of a Thug. But then I guess many here are following the Travon Model and making claims without much evidence to back them up. Officer Michael Brown has more than a dozen eye witnesses testifying that back up his claims not to mention sever injuries he suffered at the hands of Michael Brown. http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2014/08/breaking-report-po-darren-wilson-suffered-orbital-blowout-fracture-to-eye-socket-during-encounter-with-mike-brown/

jgoose71 0 #394 August 20, 2014 normiss Source? I don't have a source for the exact quote above. This is just information that I have been able to piece together slowly watching the news. Also add, the cop had his guard down because he didn't know that the guy was wanted for just pulling off said robbery. He was just going to ask the guy to stop walking down the middle of the street for safety reasons. He was initially thinking the guy might have been drunk or something. We have conflicting reports on what happened during the shooting. We are still waiting to see if the cop shot him out of revenge, or the guy actually turned and started taunting and charged the cop. I know that they still need to have a trial, or at least the proceedings up to one, that is why everything is being held so close, but at the same time it's also allowing rumors to run rampant. I wouldn't expect the riots to end anytime soon. Eddited to add: Looks like Chanman found a source. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. YMMV. Sure, you can say that. But if you do, you don't get to complain when the cop is described as a violent rogue cop under investigation for murdering of an unarmed, innocent kid by shooting him in the back of the head. That's equally accurate, and serves the intended purpose of generating angry responses just as well.

You're trying to get an angry response from people. And that's fine; that's what lots of people here do all the time. But it's sort of silly to whine about it when other people do it with just as much justification and support. (BTW I liked the "strong armed" shit you pulled out of your ass! Nice touch. Makes him sound like a convicted criminal.)
