Highest ratio of blacks voting for a candidate was in 2008, when 95% of blacks voted for Obama. In 2012 it was 93%. In 2004, 74% of blacks registered democratic. 2008 was 76% and 2012 was 76% as well.

Could one of you two please correct your statement to something reflecting number of actual voting number and not skin color number.
They are not interchangeable.
We still have fairly large sections of minorities and poor NOT voting.

They proved that he did punch the officer several times, they proved that there was a struggle with the gun and they proved that he was advancing on the officer when he was killed.

I don't understand why so many people try to compare the Trayvon case.
Other than a young man losing his life, I fail to see anything comparable.

Of course I would, not sure about everyone, but...I don't see how that is possible given the number of witnesses stating otherwise.


ETA - not sure why you felt the need to snap about me not being able to have a discussion...but numbers and what they mean when used in statistics are important. they can make the numbers sound amazing when used incorrectly. you just cannot say that x% of one race votes in y fashion without the numbers of those x's actually voting.

***This sure has fallen out of the news. With the officer speaking to the grand jury I thought some details would have leaked out by now as to his testimony.

Either there is evidence (strong - very, very, VERY strong) that has not been made public or he screwed up soooo bad testifying.

Of course if the local grand jury let's him off one side will claim good ol boy net work, one will claim it was correct.

Sad part is we need a change but Americas attention span and divisiveness will keep that from happening and another young man is dead and a police officer will deal w this the rest if his life.

If the grand jury finds no reason to continue, the local Democrats will use that as an excuse to riot yet again
