lawrocket 3 #276 August 19, 2014 AnvilbrotherThanks for the info, I cant wait to see how the idots here will still defend the poor innocent teenage boy. It's not about defending a "poor innocent teenage boy." This is an extreme position. No doubt there are people who will insist that he was, indeed, a "poor innocent teenage boy." On the other hand, there are people who will continue to defend the "kind gentle innocent police force." Why is it that things are heated? Because of this kind of thing that makes lawyers say, "Come on, guys. You're taking this shit too far." What's going on is in the middle. It's not the public's fault that police aren't trusted. The shock and awe method of policing should be rethunk. Note to Billy: I had initially thought that the easing of tensions would be helpful. It turns out that I was wrong. The state police chief's methods provided some good but it was fleeting. The extreme good feelings are no better than militarized response. Maybe something in the middle? My wife is hotter than your wife.

Anvil, my survival mentality does not include trying to defend against thugs like this. Keep that attitude and things like this one WILL get worse. Count on it. ryoder 1,590 #281 August 19, 2014 rushmc****** http://www.cnn.com/2014/08/18/us/missouri-teen-shooting/index.html Well, this is the first I've heard that the cop *did* have information about the convenience store robbery, and in fact he got the radio call while he had Brown in sight. I will have to go back and re-read because what I read stated he was just telling the two to get off the street when Brown rushed the police vehicle It is in the audio of the video at the top of the page."There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones. Rick 67 #282 August 19, 2014 so getting past all the posturing in this thread about who is racist and which news sources are communist it basically comes down to: 1) the cop shot an innocent black kid that had his hands in the air and was not a threat b) a big thug pushed the cop back in his car tried to take his gun, started to leave but turned around and rushed the cop and was shot it seems there were several witnesses so with the FBI on the scene taking statements I think they should be able to piece it together despite the media circusYou can't be drunk all day if you don't start early! Anvilbrother 0 #284 August 19, 2014 Where have you been?? The kid robbed a store(verified), punched the cop in the eye so hard it broke his eye socket(verified), he then ran away, but then turned back and charged the cop, the cop told him to stop and then had to shoot him(verified by at least 12 witnesses, and a video). I also think it the particular officer had a history of abusing citizens it would be all over the news. Have not heard anything to that effect. but I was not there and will be interested to hear the sworn statements from the witnessesYou can't be drunk all day if you don't start early! Thanks for clearing that up.
normiss 798 #293 August 19, 2014 Yup. It's interesting how this has all happened over time. I think some people are just fed up with the way the cops treat them and interact with them. The cops just shot and killed another one. Tonight should be interesting. Again. I think when all the dust settles, the cops are going to be forced to change the way they deal with the public. I don't see that as a bad thing.
SkyDekker 1,465 #294 August 19, 2014 rushmc***So let me get this straight, Al Sharpton and Brack Obama have full control over a large part of the media and are using the media to further an agenda? Pretty much all mainstream media (including FOX) held back on reporting information that was available to them, to help increase the violence? I think all your posts are starting to make sense to me now.... Nope Didnt say that but then, I am used to you jumping to crazy conclusions Then why don't you clearly state what your point is? Yes; they are planning to end the world in 2016. Didn't you see Ron's recent post? I get it when the yayhoos make up lying false conclusions but, as a moderator who supposedly encourages truth, I would think your standards were higher. I guess not. FTR, I never said BHO intended the end the world in 2016. And, you know it. God loves you anyway. Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. Anvilbrother 0 #297 August 19, 2014 Normiss will you change your attitude about this incident if it comes out that the 6'4 300 lb guy did pin the the officer in his unit, beat him up and punched him so hard it broke his eye socket and caused an orbital blow out, then ran away only to turn around and run back towards the cop despite loud verbal commands and had to be shot? Or is all that still the fault of the police because they are mean? Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. Rick 67 #299 August 19, 2014 I agree Mark but I also think they are faced with a society that has no respect for law enforcement and actually embrace the criminal lifestyle and are proud of it now which came first?? it's the whole chicken or egg thing when we were young we had a respect, or maybe it was a fear of the consequences from the law. We did something wrong if we got caught we accepted the punishment due to us. not so much in today's society we have large groups of young people bum rushing stores and stealing. Then they call it a protest and blame it on the police for some perceived abuses. and we have police carrying military weapons and dressing like storm troopers riding in military vehicles. I have no idea how things are going to end up. I saw the shit in Detroit back in the late 60's and would not wish that on any city. You can't be drunk all day if you don't start early!
