For several years I worked in drug treatment programs attempting to rehabilitate blacks by teaching them how to live without drugs and be employed. It is very difficult to rehabilitate those who were never habilitated in the beginning.

What are you doing to help these people?

D.W. may not be the greatest guy in the world, I don't know him. Ferguson may be a shithole that is run by racist white people I don't know I've never lived there. But we are creating a situation where a large part of our population is becoming very isolated. (Black community) and a larger part of the population is becoming VERY self rightest. (White community) Personally I don't think the black leadership that has been displayed in Ferguson is helping the black community.

But what about the moderate white community? How do we reach out to the M.B. of the world? How do we condemn inappropriate actions (robbing a store) while not condemning and entire race?

Do we have people with no respect for the law? Yes.

Do we have law-enforcement officers that violate citizens rights? Yes.

Verbally arguing with an officer should be the most one does, and even that should be limited. If you feel your rights are being violated or the officer is being unreasonable, just take the summons or arrest peacefully and address that in court to have any evidence gathered illegally dismissed.

Resisting, even passively, will just escalate them to the next level to make one comply. Through court and police complaints we can weed out the bad cops.
