Source: http://en.uncyclopedia.co/wiki/Motorola#Randomized_Drug_Testing That was Motorola; I know that because I worked there. I nearly fell out of my chair when I opened that book and read that on the first page. Now here is how the "random" drug testing actually worked: You could work there for years and never be tested, but put in your two weeks notice that you were quitting and BAM! You would get called up for a drug test. It happened to me, and it happened to my best friend there."There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones. Anvilbrother 0 #77 April 29, 2015 http://www.ibtimes.com/fbi-director-says-agencys-pot-policy-needs-reform-attract-cyber-security-professionals-1588245 QuoteThe government’s War on Drugs is apparently hurting its battle against hackers. “I have to hire a great workforce to compete with those cybercriminals and some of those kids want to smoke weed on the way to the interview,” Federal Bureau of Investigation Director James Comey told a conference at the New York City Bar Association on Monday. The FBI is having trouble hiring computer experts because of the government’s strict no-tolerance policy on marijuana, he said. This is what I was talking about wendy. I know they probably wont lax testing, but they did comment that the testing policy was affecting their ability to hire IT/Programmers. Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. normiss 858 #78 April 29, 2015 Since we as a country started drug testing, I have NOT had a job where I wasn't required to pass a pee test. Mostly just pre-employment screens, but usually with the random testing as well. However, my job is by choice, not a federal government benefit. It's a violation of the 4th to require a drug test for federal benefits.
champu 1 #79 April 29, 2015 ryoderIndividual Dignity Entitlement... random drug testing... Motorola Hey I remember that! The individual dignity entitlement t-shirts were a nice touch. Although I only worked for them as an intern during undergrad; this meant non-random drug testing.
normiss 858 #80 April 29, 2015 I worked for them in Dallas in the 80's. There was no testing at all then. The manager was the weed dealer for the office at the time. He was also banging one of the engineer's wife.
